Repurchase Agreement
Are you carrying a large checking account balance? Solera National Bank's Commercial Sweep/Repurchase Agreement facilitates automatic cash management of funds through retail repurchase agreements, also known as REPOS.
Solera National Bank's Repurchase Agreement Sweep operates by establishing a target balance for your checking account. On a daily basis, balances above that target are automatically swept into your repurchase agreement investment.
If daily disbursements exceed the target balance in your checking account, funds are automatically moved to your checking account.
Earnings are credited to your Repurchase Agreement account each month.
REPOS are short-term debt obligations of the bank that are not FDIC-insured; but rather, they are collateralized by U.S. securities, which are held by a correspondent bank. Those U.S. securities are fully guaranteed by the United States or one of its agencies. Because no FDIC maximum insurance guidelines apply, the corporate customer can maintain balances in excess of $100,000.
